Meet Ogi’s local team near you.

If Ogi’s busy building a network in your town or village, your local Community Liaison Officer is here to help!

Service with a smile

Ogi’s building a fibre optic network in towns and villages across south Wales. Our Community Liaison Officers are here to support your local community during the roll-out, to help you to make the most out of your new ultrafast digital service now, and in the future. Meet the team that covers the ground for Ogi from the coast of Pembrokeshire to the Monmouthshire hills.

The Community crew is there to help with build-related local issues. If you’d like to speak to Ogi about anything else, you can always call our Customer Care team.

Pembrokeshire

Martin Jones, Community Liaison Officer, Pembrokeshire

Martin is from Milford Haven where he lives with his family and firmly believes that #WestIsBest. He joined Ogi in 2021 and has so far been spreading the Ogi word around Haverfordwest. He’ll soon be out and about around Milford Haven answering any questions you may have.

Martin started his career as an investment adviser before becoming an estate agent (he was one of the good guys). Think a Welsh Phil Dunphy from Modern Family. A better looking version but equally endearing. A self-confessed geek, he collects comics & Star Wars memorabilia. He is now an Ogi Jedi who will keep you up to date as we build your full fibre network for the future.

On nice days (the sun always shines in Pembs after all) he loves walking the Coast Path, where you may spot him with his flatcoat retriever, Xander Jnr. You might also catch him reffing the odd football match in his home town. Apparently aging knees has stopped him from playing. He is passionate about giving back to the community in both his personal and professional life. A counsellor in training and volunteer Samaritan, it’s no surprise that he is a very good listener.

Vale of Glamorgan

Louise Clement, Community Liaison Officer, Vale of Glamorgan

Louise hails from the Rhondda. Since joining Ogi the Vale has become like a second home. She has enjoyed taking the time to get to know the people that shape the communities of Rhoose, Llantwit Major and St Athan.

Before joining Ogi, Louise worked for a community and childcare organisation in RCT as a Community Coordinator and Hub Manager. She is passionate about connecting people digitally and knows how important digital connectivity is to our towns and villages.

When Louise isn’t enjoying a cuppa and a chat about all things Ogi in a local coffee shop, she can be found out in the great outdoors. You will mostly find her out on the water paddle-boarding, or braving the cold water wild swimming in the sea or local lake. On dry land Louise explores Wales on two feet, walking and hiking on a regular basis with her husband and two daughters.

Monmouthshire

Ryan Bevan, Community Liaison Officer, Monmouthshire

Before joining Ogi in 2021, Ryan worked as a community development officer for 10 years, so he brings a lot of experience to the role. His focus was on digital inclusion and he’s passionate about connecting people and encouraging digital literacy.

As Ogi grows across Monmouthshire so does Ryan’s scope. Since joining the team, he has enjoyed getting to know the people and places of Abergavenny. He will soon be out and about around Monmouth updating you about the build.

Ryan has a big Welsh personality that people naturally warm to, plus a great smile and infectious laugh. He is a keen motorcycle enthusiast who likes to get out and ride as much as possible around south Wales. A true family man who is a big softie; just ask his French bulldog, Thor.

Community is at the heart of all we do.
